How it works
One map screen. Search an address or drop a pin on a site that has none. Your recent places are saved.
Bakkie, small lorry, tipper, flatbed, crane and more. Ride along with the load, or Send it to a receiver with their name and phone.
Base fare plus distance, vehicle and tonnage. The price is on screen before you commit. Add cargo photos and notes if you like.
Nearby drivers who accept appear as cards: photo, rating, vehicle make, model, colour and plate. You choose. Offer more if you want someone faster.
Watch the vehicle move, see each status change, call or chat in the app, and share your own live location so the driver finds you.
At the drop-off the driver taps Complete. You pay the driver directly in cash or EcoCash at the agreed price, then rate them.
Two ways to move
Pick the trip type when you compose a request. Everything else on the trip adapts to it.
You travel with the load.
Like a normal e-hailing trip, but in a bakkie, lorry or combi. Load together at the pickup, sit up front, and unload at the other end. Ideal for shopping runs, house moves and group transport.
The driver carries it to someone else.
Enter the receiver's name and phone. The driver can call them at the drop-off, and the receiver knows who is coming and in what vehicle. Built for shops, suppliers and sites.

Pricing
Movu never holds your money. The app works out a fair fare from four parts, you see it, and you pay the driver in cash or EcoCash when the trip is done.
Covers the driver coming to you and loading time.
Per-km rate scaled by the vehicle. Bakkies cost less per km than cranes.
A small per-tonne charge on the weight you enter. Zero for passenger trips.
Waiting? Offer more and drivers see the new price at once. The extra is all theirs.

The shop sends the load with the site foreman as receiver. The foreman gets the driver's details and can call or chat, and the shop watches the truck arrive on the map.

Request a tipper each morning from the same pickup. Drivers who worked the route before accept fast, and the builder keeps choosing the ones with the best ratings.
Tipper Truck

A business account requests a 15-seat combi at 22:00 every night. The supervisor books it, the team sees the price, and the driver's plate and photo are known before anyone boards.

Enter the weight, choose Low-bed and the price accounts for the tonnage. The driver's Certificate of Fitness and insurance are already verified before they can go online.

Share the depot pin, add the release details in the notes and send. The clearing agent at the yard is the receiver and gets the driver's number the moment the driver is chosen.
